Flashy Examples — fourteen runnable, tested examples for the estate’s packages and standards: append-only settlement, consent-gated transfer, sealed introductions, attenuation-only delegation, and the intent/1, ritual/1 and aao/0.1 formats, each teaching one invariant with its refusals.

Examples 11–14 run and test with nothing installed (node: builtins only); 01–10 need the four core packages, and none of the four is on the public npm registry, so the working install today is the sibling checkouts. The manifest’s runs and packages fields are measured from each example’s import lines, not typed, and a test pins the manifest to the filesystem.

Edge cases — each one paid for once

The package ranges are the versions that actually exist

package.json pins ^1.0.0 / ^1.0.0 / ^0.1.0 / ^0.1.1 — the versions in the sibling repositories today — so the day each package publishes, the same npm install resolves it with no edit here. A plain npm install still fails on a clean machine, and the README says so rather than implying the packages are published.
